I don't have any particular revelations to impart, apart from the fact that I have pretty good research abilities and know where to go for credible sources of information.
I've not done any formal research in any evolution-related subjects, if that's what you were thinking; it's just out of personal curiousity.

My head is swelling more and more.
In addition to the Dawkins, I'd also recommend Carl Zimmer's excellent 'Evolution: Triumph of An Idea' as a primer.
Possibly iconoclastic of me, but I wouldn't read Origin of Species first. I'd read a modern introduction first, then go back and read OoS (which is available here: http://darwin-online.org.uk/). That way you'll get something in modern language - though OoS isn't hard - and which covers what has happened since Darwin's time.

Okeydokey, can get a good deal on Trappist beers if you are interested. The monks are always willing. If not, my mate Satan in Hexamshire can probably sort you out some Devils Water. I tried some Devils Elbow at the beer festival. I wouldnt recommend it. The Altar wine is a better deal though, 13.5% VOL and bigger bottles.
Cough... cough ..... I hesitate to mention it, but I was once endowed with the title "Goddess of R&S" (wasn't I Octavius?), so do I get a look in here with all this adulation? I know I offered my services as secretary of this fan club, but if there's a bit of promotion going spare, I'm not one to turn by back on it!
