Christian campaigners have objected to a charity that claims to be able to cure Christianity. Christians, or "Greys" as they are often known, are appalled that the Living After Midnight charity claims that Christianity, far from being an incurable condition, can be cured by a combination of prayer, consultation and Cher records.
"Christianity is not hereditary" claimed the Reverend Synesis. "I have Christian Grandparents, but I turned out OK".

Sorry, not really, Theland. Although all this witty repartee is perhaps not terribly politically correct, I think perhaps the 'iconic' status of the one in question has been somewhat overlooked.

Having listened to a couple of Cher songs I can, as a Christian, confirm that it really is like going cold turkey.

I don't know whether I am near cured or damaged further.

Still, at least it wasn't Mariah Carey.
