Anybody know what type of questions are asked by a Catholic

Priest when a couple wants to marry?
Someone said to me the couple get asked questions seperately - why is this?

My experience dates back 30 years, but the present mr O'Lady was not interviewed separately. The priest's concerns seemed to be threefold - that the non-catholic understands and is in sympathy with the catholic church; that the catholic is not being prevented from practising their faith; and that children will be raised as catholics. To which we smiled, nodded, and have since blithely ignored as suits us best.
This might give you some insight. Every priest is different.
