Another tall story from the Mail!
What plane gives that much leg-room?
Why?
Wedgewood goes bankrupt, Jaguar and Land Rover are sold abroad, Woolworths closes, Adams closes loads of its stores, thousands are made redundant, hundreds have their homes repossesed.

But never mind, we we still keep taking time wasters and layabouts from all over the world because somebody stood on their toe in their own country and they dont want to live there any more.

This country has priced itself out of the world jobs market by taxing those that do work to the hilt, and soon will have millions on the dole

Maybe we will then wake up and realise that accepting any tom dick or abdul from third world countries was perhaps not that great an idea.

Too late then of course.

couldnt of put it better myself VHG....I feel britain is becoming and embarrassment and a laughing stock. The great has long gone.
If we accepted everyone from Pakistan who is under some sort of threat because of religion, homosexuality or perversion then 1/2 of the 150 million inhabitants would be able to come here.

thought they were already here
Oh my gosh...
I accept that she might have had a hard time in her native country but does that give her the right to stay in Britain? No it does not!
I would say what that news report tells us as well. Most of these people tell lies and usually soon after they are granted asylum, they go back to impress people in the same country which they told horrible lies about. I feel bad saying, that I knew someone personally (not any more) who had few old bruises caused while playing hockey in Pakistan and he managed to convince home office that these bruises were due to police torture. I hate these people more than anyone else as they give bad name to the country only for their personal gain.

But then again I would also blame this country as well because they just do not understand. This country is full of people wanted for serious crimes in their native countries. No wonder people are fed up even here with human right stuff. Fortunately Pakistanis are just a fraction of the people who are damaging this country.
Good God Keyplus! I find myself agreeing with you again! Thats twice in the last 6 months.

Joking apart, youre right. The Human Rights Act, though well intentioned, is routinely abused by criminals. Well said.
if height is such a big deal,I'll probably be deported for being a short-arse.

she's allowed in here because Britons went into Pakistan in the first place, and without visas. It's payback time for the British empire.
Ouch! :-)
Yes, Britain was bad bad news for Pakistan, taking all those railways and things there. How fortunate for us that all the high tech is now coming back.

With most of them here paying taxes like everybody else it's not a drain so much as a positive benefit. Let's take in all the world's over-6-footers.

Wrong again 'anti British' jno,

Pakistan did not come into being until 1947, on Britain's withdrawal from the Indian sub-continent.

The modern state of Pakistan was established on 14 August 1947 (27 Ramadan 1366 in the Islamic Calendar), carved out of the two Muslim-majority wings in the eastern and northwestern regions of British India and comprising the provinces of Balochistan, East Bengal, the North-West Frontier Province, West Punjab and Sindh.
Wow jnosomeone caught you on the back foot there !
