USALady, Food for thought. Is it not?
One should carefully evaluate the underlying message in the words of a book one relies on for guiding principles. You might believe the words as you interpret them serve you well but where meaning is so obscured as to be wildly open to interpretation one might wonder if understanding is the intention of the writer or the reader.
You can not judge a book by its cover . . . although in the case of "The Holy Bible", perhaps it does provide a valuable clue . . . although "Wholly Babble" might be a more appropriate title.
Your "Bible" does however makes several points startlingly clear to those willing to read it with a discerning mind. For one it 'teaches' that a thirst for knowledge was the downfall of humanity. For another it presents a picture of sacrifice of the good for the sake of those who would pursuit the unearned and undeserved as a virtue.
I could go on and on but I will leave that for others as I know that with respect to you I am barking up the wrong tree. To those for whom it does matter, those for whom the truth is respected for the truth at the expense of any belief, not even the threat of eternal damnation will obscure from them the point the video makes clearly enough.

Hi USALady, thank you for remembering - and welcome back. I've had a quick look at your reply, but I think to do it justice, I must leave my response until tomorrow. It's a bit late in the day for me to get my brain around it. I'm so pleased your daughter has recovered, It must have been a very worrying time for you, especially with the pneumonia.
