Prayers for Max

Please can you pray for Max, the 3 year old son of friends of mine who fell in the pool unnoticed yesterday and was under water for 5 minutes. He is currently on a ventilator in hospital and awaiting a brain scan at 2pm (South African time) after which his parents will decide what to do.

He and his parents need to be held up in prayer at this time.

thank you everyone - the scan showed no brain damage, however he is still on the ventilator and unconscious. Apparently he is responding to light and pain. I will keep you all updated.

Shan - I prayed for Max till it hurt. I pray now that he pulls through, and Gods' grace will decend on the parents to give them the strength necessary to see them through this crisis.
I pray that He who can call from death to life, will do so now, to His eternal glory.

This happened to the small son of a friend of mine in Florida. He is now pefectly okay., no long term damage at all It's a remarkable phenomenom but very young children can withstand much longer underwater. than older children or adults. Get your friends to ask the doctors about it.

I have had excellent news and am sending my goodwill to your Max - may God hear us and bring him back.

latest update - Max was responding to light - but now is not. He has been put onto morphine now as he appears to be in pain and is still unconscious and on the ventilator.
Again, thank you all for your prayers and support - I have passed your wishes onto the family and we in South Africa say a big Thank You!
