Buenchico, during your reading you must have missed the first few verses of Genesis, which starts with the earth already there for God to mess about with. It isn't until the fourth day that he invents the sun and the rest of the universe. So in order to produce mornings and evenings on the first three days he had a rather large torch which he would switch on and off. He invented the sun to save him that trouble. Oh, and the way the Fairy Godmother turned a pumpkin into a carriage is like this... oh, sorry, wrong subject.
Oh but flob, God didnt create a whole pile of planets and stuff with nothing on them after creating earth.

Wot ye not that stars as small objects attached to the Firmament (which can fall off)? See Daniel 8:10, Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:25, Revelation 6:13, Revelation 8:10, Revelation 9:1 and Revelation 12:4 (it is sometimes claimed that these "falling stars" are meteors, but the swipe of a dragon's tail dislodges "one-third of all the stars in the sky" in Revelation 12:4).
And see Revelation 6:14:
The heavens are "rolled back like a scroll", and stars are apparently still being knocked off the Firmament in subsequent verses.

i fought it was part of the big plan, you know where we is meant to make a mes of this plante which he gave us and then we start to explore and takeover other planets probably by smiting the inhabitants or something, maybe just flood them or burn them whatever.
one day we might even be capable due to his holinesses wonderful act of letting us do what we want (aka free will) and we can make our own planet.
a bit like the death star from star wars.

use the force jesus. amen.

We're all funked in 2012 anyway. First apocalypse theory I've actually latched onto.
Why have you latched onto it? The Mayan calendar doesn't predict the end of the world - it's only the subsequent prophets of doom who have done that.

Does apocalypse mean end of the world specifically. I just mean I've got a feeling that something major will happen then. Something life changing. It's just something I'm picking up from different aspects of life at the mo, esp. the rapid pace of technology.
Oh, I see. But why do you think this will happen in 2012 specifically?
