Keyplus, thank you, but as suspected the verses say nothing whatsoever about a specific time, although they most definitely relate to a specific people because what they do say very clearly indeed is that Jesus was interested only in the Jews. Of that there can be no doubt.

I know neither you or the Christians like to hear it, but both Christianity and Islam have hijacked the man Jesus and both have used his name shamefully to their own ends - and these verses offer perfect confirmation of that.

I find it fascinating that Jesus refers to people as sheep, an animal known for its strong herd instinct and mindless following. Indeed the word pastor comes directy from pastorialist. Then there is "the Lord is my shepard"

In modern times calling someone a sheep is an accusation of mindless action and considered an insult. This suggests the church depends on destroying the self esteem of its followers.

The kind of respect Islam has given to Jesus that was not given to him by Jews or Christians alike. Muslims act upon his teachings more than Jews and Christians. And again even that can be proved from Bible.
