google map lines?
42 Answers
I see two pale blue lines on my google map, one horisontal, one vertical. When I click on the point where these lines intersect, the map zooms in and these lines are repositioned in a seemingly arbitrary way.
What are these lines on my map?
I can't see any purpose for their existence . . . other than to mystify me.

The diagonal yellow lines are spot image in the layer.
Vertical and horizontal lines are Digital globe coverage.
The clouds are under weather (shocking, eh?)
But turn 'em all off and then just put back what you really need.
