One of my email accounts regularly gets invoices and/or attachments of some sort which appear to come from perfectly reputable companies. I know that:
(a) the company whose name appears on the email hasn't sent it ;
(b) paying any invoice accompanying the mail would be madness (as I've not ordered anything and the money would go straight to the fraudster who sent the email ;
(c) opening any attachment that came with the email would be an act of utter insanity, as doing so could dump malware onto my computer ;
(d) clicking on any link in the email could also result in malware arriving on my computer ; and
(e) clicking on 'Unsubscribe' could both dump malware onto my computer AND tell the scammer (who might simply have guessed at my email address) that he's found a valid address (so that he can send more nasty stuff).
Charbonnel Et Walker is a perfectly legitimate company but the email you received almost certainly didn't come from them (unless, of course, you've provided your email to another retailer, with permission to forward it to their 'approved partners').
If you like the look of something on the Charbonnel Et Walker website (and can afford it!) then, by all means, go ahead and buy it - but DON'T click on anything in that email. Delete it!!!
