E-Bay Problem?
3 Answers
Has anyone had a problem with e-Bay today?
Out of the blue I have received two e-mails:- one telling me there has been unauthorized use of my account, the other says we have temporarily disabled automatic payment of your invoices to allow us to review your seller account and ensure that the balance due on your account is correct.
Access to my account has been locked and I have been hanging on the customer services line for 40 mins.

Apparently, my account had been hacked and a "spoof" listing for a 1.5 ton bobcat mini digger starting price £1100.00 had been placed on my seller account. It was this listing that caused my account to be disabled.
I have a washer program running at the front of my e-mails so I can see all content without putting them into my inbox, or clicking on links. I can reject/delete/bounce as necessary.
I hope this information is helpful to anyone who might encounter a similar problem with their e-bay account.
