Before you can use any Adobe apps you will need to install the Java SE 6 runtime https:// www. macworld. co. uk/ feature/ mac- software/ which- apps- wont- work- in- macos- high- sierra- 3664177/

You mean flash player?
Have you tried this page?
https:/ /get.ad obe.com /flashp layer/
Also, try this page:
https:/ /helpx. adobe.c om/uk/f lash-pl ayer.ht ml
It may be that Flash is not enabled in your browser.

Check that you're using the correct download link. You need to go here
https:/ /get.ad obe.com /flashp layer/o therver sions/
Then set 'Step 1' to 'Mac OS X' and 'Step 2' to your chosen browser. (NB: If you use, say, both Safari and Opera you'll need to install Flash separately for each of them).
You might ALSO need to ENABLE Flash in your chosen browser. e.g. for Safari:

Maybe you have settings ensuring Flash vulnerabilities aren't an issue because it blocks operation. Check AV and similar.
I used to have issues because I set various settings I found to not auto-play but to ask. Some things didn't ask. Took ages to muddle through and get things working. (Some things still don't, but may be due to a different cause.)
