If anyone thinks anything is a scam, the best thing to do is Google the headline text followed by the word 'scam' or 'hoax' or both.

Don't worry about this - yet another scam, I've received one too.

if an email looks dodgy, it probably is... my other half used to sign up to win so and so online contests, email required if you win etc, they then sell your email address to all and sundry, also campare sites to it as well, data is very profitable, for legal and illegal purposes, ever see the box tick this if you dont want third parties contacting you, people forget to tick that box, i have found sometimes makes no difference, they still sell your data ie email address.
