Spam Phone Call ?

Had 2 calls from this number 01703880725. Automated voice. Amazon prime will take £79.99. I hung up before the message continued further. Spam yes or no.? Thanks

Definitely Spam. I get it at least once a week.

Yes spam, you can safely ignore it.

I had the same call to my land line and I checked my Amazon account to see that they didn't even have that phone number.

I keep getting emails, supposedly from PayPal, saying they have detected fraudulent activity on my account, so it has been suspended. In order to reactive it, I have to click the link and enter all my card and bank details, yer know, like you do.

The same day I get an email from PayPal, which I think is genuine this time, saying I have not made a purchase for some time and I should visit their website. I have to say though, I didn't take up either offer.

Two things should give it away:
1) It is a recorded message
2) You are invited to press button 1.

Both of these are strong indicators of Spam.

Yes spam, had this call 4 times yesterday. Says it's international call so when I remmber to look before answering if I notice international I don't bother to pick up the phone.

Yes, get this message and one from my bank telling me someone has taken £600 from my account, also there is a warrant out for my arrest for tax fraud!!

Now started getting spam from someone who say they are Domestic and General. Two calls in two days so far and strange as we have only recently bought new washing machine. Contacted D & G and it is not them so got to be spam. The number was 01156920008 and is a landline and located in Nottingham (UK).
