Evri delivery text scam. The message appears to come from an unrecognised number, but claims to be from Evri. It asks the recipient to visit [evri-delivery-fees.com] to pay a £1.45 shipping fee.
Got one from 'royal Mail' yesterday .... the certainly made it like genuine with all the same background and messages about strikes etc as the real site . Also asked for £1 .50 redelivry charge. Was convincing and can see why maybe 1 in 50 fall for it ...
But your right it's not for recipient to sort out . Surely the police can spend more time on this and follow the bank accounts rather than investigating name calling or gender misfiring 'hate crimes' on twitter
