https//evri-sched.... etc
which is making the rounds ( haw haw haw - pun intended)

Evri delivery text scam. The message appears to come from an unrecognised number, but claims to be from Evri. It asks the recipient to visit [evri-delivery-fees.com] to pay a £1.45 shipping fee.

be warned, save moolah

I’ve received this type of delivery scam message, apparently once you give them your bank details they take a lot more than the £1.45.

You have to ask yourself why should you pay any additional fee for a courier delivery; if such a fee falls to anyone it should be the sender.
i literally had one about 5 minutes ago , i have reported it as a scam and blocked the sender
don't know what you are talking about but I got information in saying the Evri has taken the place of Hermes
Evri is the new Hermes but the texts are still scams
Got one from 'royal Mail' yesterday .... the certainly made it like genuine with all the same background and messages about strikes etc as the real site . Also asked for £1 .50 redelivry charge. Was convincing and can see why maybe 1 in 50 fall for it ...
But your right it's not for recipient to sort out . Surely the police can spend more time on this and follow the bank accounts rather than investigating name calling or gender misfiring 'hate crimes' on twitter
'Mistitling' though it don't matter here
Yes, just had one of these.
