has anyone has dealings with this online firm

There seems to be very little about the firm online.  However it passes all of the standard tests for me.

i.e.

(a) the URL has existed for many years, rather than being a business which has sprung up overnight ;

(b) full contact details are shown on the website ;

(c) the company behind the business, Birmingham Welding Supplies Ltd (which has been trading for nearly a quarter of a century), appears to be legitimate.  It's run by Chris Jones and Peter Shakespeare, with neither of them holding (or having held) directorships in lots of other companies (which is always a worrying sign, especially if many of those firms have gone bust). 

(d) The Google reviews for Birmingham Welding Supplies are all first rate, with particular praise for Chris Jones.

There are a few minor faults with the firm's website (such as the use of the US term 'catalog', rather than 'catalogue' and references to another URL, 4lpa.com, which was once in use) but they seem laregely to be only because the site has been based on a standard Shopify template (which is common with small businesses anyway), rather than professionally designed for mega-bucks on a one-off basis.

I'd be happy to buy from that firm.
