As Liverpool supporter it saddens me to say he was in fact wrong.....
Remember the disasters in Heysel, Hillsborough, Ibrox and Munich, and realise that there is more to life than the game we all love, follow and cherish.

Truly horrific disasters.
But even in a tragic stuation it is incomprehensible how some so-called football fans turn into evil beings. At Bradford Park Avenue, while people losing their lives in an inferno, there were hooligans jumping upand down infront of the cameras in macabre jubilation.
