Now let me declare my bias straight away by saying Gary has always been one of my favourite players - but even I have been surprised by his media work after his retirement. He is extremely knowledgable and surprisingly unbiased
I much prefer him to Jamie rednap who is getting beyond a joke.
I also like ray Wilkins who is both fair and very positive in his comments but just lacks Garys overall analytical skills
But, to be quite frank, they aren't really up against any great competition. Jamie Redknapp is like an effervescent schoolkid who should be sent home early with extra homework, while Messrs Hansen and Lawrensen should have been put out to grass many years ago. For analysis, read "stating the blindingly obvious".
Well Joeluke I think nevilles trophy cabinet would make your comment look stupid but my aim in this thread is to discuss Neville the pundit.
His playing record speaks for itself
Ricror......Neville was just an average player who was made to look good because of the top quality players he played with at United.......same as the likes of his brother, John O'Shea, Wes Brown, Darren Fletcher etc
.......and my previous post DID address Neville the pundit
