To be quite honest, Serie A has always bored me to tears, even in it's glorious Champion's League dominating heyday. The football was sterile and uninteresting, although I could appreciate the skill. In fact that's probably what frustrated me all the more; that the players had so much talent and played in that dull, conservative style.
I've never understood the excitement over Seria A, either. I have to agree that the defensive style of play is dull to watch. I have seen some great 0-0 games as well but not from Seria A. league game.
OK in Europe the likes of AC, Inter, Juva and Roma... always prose a threat but domestically.....?
For colour, atmosphere and entertainment the German league is hard to beat. It's also considerably cheaper than the over-priced and over-rated Premier League, and you can have a beer whilst watching.
