I know this may sound a bit half hearted, but I can't get very excited about cup competitions (even though we famously "almost" won the FA Cup when "Smith must score ..." but didn't).

I'm not sure if I should type this next bit ...

Okay, I will. I hate to say it, but I'm not enjoying The Championship as much as I enjoyed League One. League One was a jolly Saturday afternoon out, with a few bottles of wine, standing in the rain with the hardcore fans. The Championship feels a bit like serious football.
