Yes , dancer, agreed. But Lionel Messi is charmingly old school, but almost alone, and he is better than any. He always has a look of 'Well, that's what I do. There's no need to go wild about it!'. And Balotelli, whatever immaturity he shows otherwise, is another who seems reluctant to make a fuss. He did get some understandable criticism for wearing 'why is it always me?' on his undershirt though. [Answers please, on a postcard, to M Balotelli...]
There was a great furore in officialdom when an American woman international took her shirt off on scoring. The spoilsports! That was because she was wearing a sports bra which she was paid to advertise. Could that be the secret origin of the rule? It had to be applied to both sexes because of equality legislation so it was.
