Yeah it was an olympic quality effort again, Tom Daley could learn a lot from him

Amazing how the referee's are repeatedly duped at Old Trafford.
Yep.................amazing.
Same old cheating gits, and how very dare him bloody diving about like that, he never used to do it when he was one of our players. He must have had the special diving training of Fergie.
Young is not in the same diving league as Cristiano Ronaldo was though
Players like Young are clever because they make sure their boot deliberately connects with the opposition players boot, then they go to ground theatrically
Agree with that joe, he is catching up fast though.

It must be daunting and soul-destroying for teams to visit Old Trafford. They know there is the likelihood of cheating to occur some time in the 90minutes (plus Fergie time). Watching it online, even the commentators praised Young for his diving prowess.
Don't forget United's 12th man, the ref. You will always be playing against 12 men at Old Trafford.
Fergie Rules Football.
That's rules as in laws....not he is the head of football. lol
I understood what you meant TTG.
If the FA let this one go then the game is crooked
Until those in charge of the game (FA, UEFA, FIFA etc) are prepared to do their job and tackle this sort of pitiful dishonesty, footballers in general will be scorned and rightly so.

We've discussed it elsewhere recently and it's surely one of the major factors in turning people away from the game.
Totally agree with you ELVIS68.

Well the slow-motion replay shows Ashley Young has perfected the swallow dive. Won no new friends; even the pundits are labelling him a cheat.
he used to do it at villa as well, as long as he gets the penalties he will carry on
Question Author
The good news - - Ashley Young goes off.

Bad news - Nani takes his place.

A simple case of swap a cheat.
Bloody hell, another Olympics quality diver, has come on.
