I could understand if he left for peanuts in top form but you got £50m for a striker who couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat.

As Man Utd supporter, I don't understand it either. I have great respect for players that have left the club (yes even Tevez) although that situation has been funny. I still rate Torres and think he's just had a dip in form. It happens to every player, it's a shame some Liverpool fans can't see it that way. especially as they do like to dwell on the past.
