Has Roy Hodgson made the right choice ?
Is this Squad good enough to Win Euro 2012 I wonder ?
Win or Lose I will be cheering them on !!
Goalkeepers: Joe Hart (Man City), Rob Green (West Ham), John Ruddy (Norwich)
Defenders: Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Man United), John Terry (Chelsea), Joleon Lescott (Man City), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Leighton Baines (Everton)
Midfielders: Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Stewart Downing (Liverpool), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Gareth Barry (Man City), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Scott Parker (Tottenham), Ashley Young (Man United), James Milner (Man City)
Forwards: Wayne Rooney (Man United), Danny Welbeck (Man United), Andy Carroll (Liverpool), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham)
You could be right redman41!
In all seriousness I hope O-Chamberlain is given a go. I was miffed when Walcott was taken to the World Cup but not utilised, he deserved a half at the very least.
I don't care about players ages in any sport. If you're good enough, you're old enough. No fear so little expectation on his shoulders (hopefully), exciting to watch, will run like a cheetah and he'll doubtless wear that shirt with pride.
Give him a go!
re A O-C He's a different sort of player nothing prissy or fragile about him... looked very good when he played this season... glad he's got a place in the squad
Can we please be realistic before we crash and burn to the delight of those North of Berwick upon Tweed and say the players we have just aren't good enough.
Carroll played a good last 30 minutes in the Cup Final,Defoe isn't a regular in the Spuds side, neither Welbeck in Man U's and Rooney is banned for the first 2 matches..
That's just the forwards!
If Roy has any sense he'll come back to the Baggies now before the press destroy him.
I'll have my England flag proudly flying but if we get through the group stage I think we'd have done good.
