Well Hearts won so there should not be too much damage done around here.

I live in the maroon side of the town
My mum and Dad are from the area - Dad was brought up in Dalry and not exactly sure where my mum was, but they had a flat above the bakers in Gorgie when they were first married - place was rampant with mice mutch to my mum's displeasure. i spent many an afternoon on the swings at whitepark.
Doubt my brother and my best friends will be talking to me for a wee while.
Despite the fact that I defected to Barcelona years ago I'm still seen as a Jambo in some quarters (Daddy was a big influence - failed with the bro - now my dad has a son and 2 grandsons who are all Hibees) I'm happy with today's result though

I sort of watched the match - I had the English playoff on the computer as well. Even allowing for the sending-off I reckon Hearts would have won.
It was a great atmosphere at Hampden yesterday, and Howard is spot on, Hearts would have won anyway as Hibs were never really at the races. Pat Fenlon, an ex-Linfield hero of mine, went up in my estimation considerably with the way he handled defeat, refusing to blame anything or anyone but himself and his team. I reckon a long overdue clear-out is imminent down Leith way, and I'm not referring to the junkies in the flats.
Fenlon was red-carded!!
He was, but he spoke well after the game when he took it on the chin and refused to blame others, unlike a certain other manager I can think of in the SPL.
Duncer
I agree about Fenlon's manner after the game.
For the life of me I can't think of the SPL manager you're hinting at (ha ha).
I know, it's hard to guess because he's such a shy retiring type who accepts defeat well and never blames anyone else.
Nope, still can't place him. Anyway I've got my own problems - I'm a Weegie Jags man!!
Used to watch out for them when Jonny Tuffey was there - looks like he boobed by moving to ICT? Probably better off financially but he really needs game time.
Great keeper but as you say, money talks. Good luck to him!
Money does indeed talk, but he would probably do himself more long-term favours by playing regularly for Thistle than warming a bench in Inverness.
