I still favour Germany to beat Italy tonight.
Either way, having seen Portugal's performance in preventing Spain from playing their normal game, whoever gets to the final must have a good chance against them.

I fancy Germany tonight as well and it should be a really good Final on Sunday against Spain

The Germans seem to start very brightly in each match & then fade as they get tired (as Portugal did last night).

If the Italians can get to about 75 minutes still level then I fancy them to win.

But I want to see the Germany beat Spain in the final ...

If it goes to penalties tonight, I think the final should just be penalties and cut-out the 90 mins and ET.

Some years ago I suggested that they start the game with a penalty shoot-out and if after 5 shots each it is even.....then play 90 minutes of football.

I like that idea X-ray. Makes more sense.

Roy was saying that it's difficult to practice penalties, as trying to simulate the same conditions is impossible. There ya go, problem solved.

Well, what do I know.
Spain v Italy will be an interesting game. On tonight's form I favour Italy.
Can't figure why J Löw didn't play Reus from the beginning.
