Aaah.

I've just listened to his theory of teams having "bounce", and am utterly baffled. The phrase "talks a good game" seems so apt for Steve. I'm not one for sacking managers willy nilly, but this man has been spouting amorphisms for far too long
Question Author
Pulis can keep a team in the Premier League though?
You didn't ask that though
Question Author
Pulis can at least "justify" his sh1te by pointing to the fact Stoke are still a top division club. Meanwhile Steve will be pointing out how the "bounce" was still with his wonderful side.

And I hope they don't, but it's sure to go wrong somehwere if I'm involved. Biggest worry is the Pars, but my season ticket holding ex-colleague assures me they are nothing special. We'll see?

Linfield 2-0 down at half time today and won 3-2, much to my surprise. I had the joys of Boness United v Whitletts Victoira in the Junior Cup. It was 5-2 to Boness but the result really did flatter them.
You're wrong about the biggest worry being the Pars, the biggest worry is the Jags (just my experience talking). Good to see you have a look at the junior matches too. Have you ever seen a Cumnock/Auchinleck game? I don't think there is game like it for rivalry. Rangers/Celtic, Barcelona/Real Madrid, Linfield/Glentoran? - amateurs!!

I've been at Auchinleck v Irvine Meadow, and was at Auchinleck v Boness in the quarter finals of last year's Junior Cup. It's not my favourite place to visit.

I love the Juniors. Last week was Hill of Beath and two weeks before Was Broxburn. I go home to see the Blues ever 5/6 weeks, but most of my time is spent at the Juniors. I have the chore of Ibrox tomorrow, but they are my second team?

We went to the first round of the Scottish Cup a few weeks back, Spartans v Wick Academy, and what a great day out that was.
It's really good to know that you obviously enjoy the game at all levels Duncer, some folk have blinkers and colour vision problems at times. Going back to a thread about Portadown a while ago, I think you said that the locals pronounced it 'Portydown'. The lass I met there years ago called it (if I can remember correctly) something like 'Porradan' with the emphasis on the 'dan'. She was probably the best creature I have ever met in my life and what went on between us is none of your fecking business.

Steve Kean is certainly right up there Duncer!
We've had plenty of managers over the years but I reckon Tony Mowbray could spout some real sh1te.
Always remember him saying he wasn't bothered with results just the performances....
Another memorable one was after another defeat we went bottom of the league..The interviewer asked him about our precarious position and he said he never looked at league tables!
When we were relegated from the Premier, the season after he got us promoted, the club said his job was safe and he said he expected all our players to remain loyal and get us straight back up..
Then he went to Celtic a week later..Oh the joy as he crashed and burned there :-)

Funny enough mighty WBA, I enjoyed his failure at the Paranoiadrome as well. What a coincidence?
