Black Players Union
It seems strange that some black footballers want to form a black players union in order to combat racism. Can they not see the irony? I hope that they will not exclude white players on the grounds of skin colour.
Racism is a social issue that pervades most of society, I can't see how the FA has any more responsibiliy for it than any other organisation.

A quote from Jason Roberts "We should have the same rights as other people to get into management and coaching. For the number of players from ethnic minority backgrounds who have appeared at every level there are still too few who have made it through into other aspects of the game" It is a possibility, that they are not good enough for the jobs, as they have the same chance as everybody else - this stinks of wanting "Positive discrimination" which in my opinion is the most blatant form of racism.
It is also a possibility that they are discriminated against. With the large numbers of black footballers that have finished their playing careers it is hard to find a reason why there aren't more black managers especially in the championship, league one and two. It's even more puzzling when you consider that they are only up against the likes of Alex mcleish, paul jewell, mick macarthy and Neil warnock etc.
Can you imagine the uproar if someone started a player's union that only admitted white men?
Yet it's ok for black and Asians to do this. Apparently.
Segregating people, whether they are footballers, police, firemen or whoever, by colour or race is only going to cause further problems.
Integration not segregation is the answer.
