ichkeria: Your comments are always welcome, however I fail to understand why you used the word robbed. My comment used the word rob which is defined as meaning to be deprived of something by deceit. In this instance the something was opportunity, deprived by both the deceitful player and the incompetent referee.
In fairness to the referee he was fooled as were a lot of other people by the theatrical dive for the first penalty. Without wishing to be too hard on West Brom, who certainly were unlucky with those penalties, they nonetheless didn't really look like winning or even scoring and in that respect can hardly be said to have been robbed.
Take the game to its full on hypothetical: Those two penalties should never have been awarded. There was a definite Arsenal hand-ball in their own penalty area. The outcome could have been so different, don't you think so ichkeria, if only the rules of the game had been observed?
The video does not lie.
I stand by . . . . Arsenal XI and Ref Rob Baggies.
