I'm not sure that item, amusing as it is, really hits the mark because I think Zenit are in a league of their own when it comes to blind bigotry...

They've certainly received the most publicity, but there is a lot of darkness behind the old iron curtain. I experienced it in Moscow when Rangers played Dynamo about 2002 but, luckily, the Russian police were on top form and saved us from attack. Warsaw wasn't a lot better.

Oh yes you're right Duncer. What I meant was that it seemed a bit lame comparing Liverpool to Zenit. I hope the BBC or Sky sees fit to do a documentary on racism in Russian football along the lines of the Ukrainian ones, ideally sooner than a few weeks before the start of a major tournament, especially in a country where the problem's 10 times worse
