Premier League And World Cup Qualifiers

On the weekend of 16th/17th November there are no EPL games because of the World Cup Play-Offs on Fri 11th and Tues 19th.

Can clubs reschedule games for that weekend if they have no players in the squads of the 8 national teams involved or is it a FIFA rule there there will be absolutely no games in any top-flight European league at that time?

Such weekends always seem a bit dull even when England are involved in internationals so to have no games solely because of foreign teams is going to be even duller.

The answer is no, as I believe there are also friendlies scheduled for most European countries.

England are playing Chile on the 15th November and Germany on the 19th November.

Often certain dates are put by for international games so of course many international teams will be playing each other all over the world during those dates.
