which was the last team to concede 3 penalties at home ?
Question Author
3 penalties in a game doesn't happen too often, let alone all against the home team
As a Liverpool Fan it would be easy for me to gloat about the result.:-))
Instead, it was refreshing to see 6 Englishmen and a Welshman in Liverpool's starting XI.
i.e:
Johnson
Flanagan
Gerrard
Henderson
Sterling
Sturridge
Allen
Goes to show that Johnny Foreigner is not necessarily always the best.
With the type of football United have shown this season against a-hem (No disrespect) lesser opposition. Then If I were a Liverpool supporter and didn't get a win I'd have left with my head in shame no matter the magnitude of the fixture.

Without United (at all since November) in the mix It could be Liverpool's season to take the title. However the rivalry is such and hate to say it but I'm backing Chelsea all the way.
Man City will come cantering past and take the title
They may do Hopkirk. I simply don't want the fairy's across the Mersey to win it. Good Luck with the Baggies staying up... with Pepe.
Rafael and Vidic should not be allowed on a football pitch.
Grow up!
ne ner ner Flanagan shouldn't have stayed on the pitch
Rafael and Vidic should not be ALLOWED on a football pitch.
sir.prize may i ask why?
Waiting. I had this kind of Bull-pate talking to my Brother last night who's a Liverpool supporter. (Bless him)
Arksided - I'm not going to squabble with you. It's only a *** game.

Berniecuddles - Rafael had already been booked for a scything challenge on Gerrard. Handball is not a mandatory yellow card but a deliberate one, preventing Suarez from going round him, really ought to have seen the ref show another yellow and a red. Rafael has a history of bending the rules to his advantage, moreso than his twin brother..

Regarding Vidic – he loves to be the bully. Four red cards against Liverpool – he does seem to have a problem.

And no - Liverpool aren't favourites of mine.
Lets hope Sturridge does a Klinsman in the world cup this summer and gets away with it.

I have no case defending for United this season.
In answer to your question on the other side, I think the Baggies will stay up, but have no idea if Pepe will keep his job.

If last week's win is the start of the tide turning then I guess he could, but Jeremy Peace has been quite trigger happy in the last few years.

In an ideal world we would get Dan Ashdown and Roy Hodgson back in control.
@ sir prize "And no - Liverpool aren't favourites of mine "
or man utd by the sounds of it..!
Very true, Bernie
I think that the referee was obviously one sided all the way through the match - he even blow the whistle early so we could not get back in it.
I am also disgusted by Sturridge falling over Vidic like that

He could have been killed!! ;-))
