Holding the competition in Brazil gives Brazilian football fans (and those from neighbouring countries) the chance to see some games live, which the vast majority of them couldn't do if it was held in Europe. FIFA's decision-making processes (with regard to where the final should be held) may well be open to question but the basic principle of moving it around different continents is clearly a sound one, particularly when it takes the competition to a part of the world where they actually know how to play the game!
Stop moaning and watch it on TV like other football fans or, better still, give the whole thing a miss and watch something interesting instead!

When i was a manager, we had several people over the years get permission to take a month off for the holiday of a lifetime. They saved hard for it, took all their holiday on one lump and took on the unpopular work times to ensure that their colleagues didn't lose out. not saying that everyone does that but it is possible.
