Upcoming Premier Football Season

I have been looking at the fixtures for the upcoming English Premier football season.

Due to the World Cup being at the end of this season it is planned to finish the season earlier than usual, hence they need to squeeze matches in to a shorter season.

Most months they play 3 or 4 Premier matches.

But in December 2017 each club play SEVEN Premier matches.

There are matches on:

Sat 2nd December
Sat 9th December
12th/13th December (midweek)
Sat 16th December
Sat 23rd December
Tue 26th December (Boxing Day)
Sat 30th December

Watch out for moans from all the Premier managers when we get nearer to December (I know some managers have moaned about it already)

This was Man Uniteds fixtures for last December:

04/12/2016 Everton FC
08/12/2016 Zorya Lugansk *(Europa League)
11/12/2016 Tottenham Hotspur
14/12/2016 Crystal Palace
17/12/2016 West Bromwich Albion
26/12/2016 Sunderland
31/12/2016 Middlesbrough

Although one is in Europe Uniteds Fixtures are seven premier league games for December this year followed by *To be confirmed.

Bearing in mind Champions league schedule for Dec 2017:
Matchday 6 (Group Stage) 5–6 December 2017

I don't see much difference and you never hear José Mourinho complain about anything ;-)
