Hi Arksided and other members of the Fantasy Football League.
Another season over and congratulations once again to Robs Robbers.
Also congrats to Lie-In King, not only for setting it up, but getting his teams to 3rd and 4th places.
Unfortunately for me, possibly the worst I have had, never really picked up from a bad start., and the reserves were no better.
Hope everyone enjoyed the contest , the next one is not that far away and possibly there will be a World Cup Competition even sooner.

Hi X-ray, yes compared to last season I could tell you must have had a bad spell at some point, happens to us all but that must have paved the way for me to get seventh spot... cheers mate ;-)
Better luck next time... I'm pleased to have had a team in the top ten such was the competition this season.

Arky - further to your comment on the main thread - "...we all scored a lot higher than last season. So much so tenth this season would have won it last season."

I notice from the main Manager Leaderboard that my 3rd & 4th places got me to positions 28,591 & 36,492!

Our winner with 2701 wouldn't have made it into the top 100 - that list starts at 3,402 & goes down to 3,179. I can't see what position Rob actually got to overall, I think only he can see that info.

Hi x-ray - sorry your season wasn't what you'd wished for but hope you had fun, despite the suffering! I am checking (when I remember) for a World Cup game, but all I can see *as of today* is the Sun Game -

Hi LIK, quite interesting how far down the league our teams are. Being totally honest I daren't even look at the overall leaderboard. I've even given up looking at the Club one which we're automatically entered into.

It made me laugh that my 3rd & 4th were actually so low overall - ah well... :-)

Further to my above comment about not looking at the club one with Man United you can imagine the fan base that join... where as Togo might have done rather well with 'Stoke city' even if all six supporters have joined in ;-)

Congratulations to Robs Robbers on winning the league..as a Baggies supporter I'm quite happy to finish 2nd..far better than the club I have the misfortune to support! Lol
Thanks to everyone who took the time and effort to have a go this season again and hope we'll all return for next season's fun and frolics :)

Hi guys, not deserted but my heart went out of it when I accepted that "my club" was doomed. I started well but just like my team made poor choices and bad transfers. Ahh well said the soul.... Ahh soul said the well. If the Villa manage to sneak into the Prem perhaps we can coerce Tony AV into the AB league next season. At least I wont be hamstrung with a duty to have my club's players in my teams. Well done to everyone above 8th and commiserations to all below 9th. Will keep a watch out for a World Cup competition and I will participate if it happens. Thanks to Arks and Lie In King for their great work in keeping us updated and involved over what proved to be a long season. Still surprised that I didn't get the sack in the closing weeks. :))

Good to see you're still about in spirit Mighty, unlucky toward the end I noticed you suddenly appearing to accumulate a lot of points. see you next season mate if not before. One thing that is consistent about West Brom is they know how to bounce.

Togo, I can only imagine I was only three when United were in the old division two so no memory of it, but do remember the dark era vividly early-mid eighties in the shadow of Liverpool etc... then something happened? ;-)

It would be good to get Mr.AV involved and as many others as we can again... all we can do is keep it popping up in recent posts when the new one is set up.
