groove armada's "my friend" is a cover version of an older soul/funky song. does anybody know who's the songwriter or the original version of that song?

The Greatest Hits insert says that it includes a sample from "Gotta Learn How to Dance" written by Bill Curtis and Richard Cornwell (that's what it looks like but writing is very tiny!) - and performed by the Fatback Band.
