grant came within a kick of winning the champions league and took the premiership to the last day of the season yet was sacked, is it only fair that big phil (why is he called big?) is shown the door at the end of the season as it appears his Chelsea pensioners will win very little?

The "pensioners" (haven't heard that for a while) will win NOTHING with the manager and personnel they have. And why? Because they sacked the best manager they have ever had. Under Mourinho, every player knew just what was expected of him. If changes were made, they were seamless. Scolari hasn't a hope. either with sulks like Drogba and Anelka, over the top players like Ballack and Deco, and a defence which play as if they had only just been introduced. At the end of the season, there will be a huge clear-out, but that won't help unless the players that leave are replaced by better quality. And that's not going to happen with Comrade Abramovich keeping his cash in his wallet.

I'm off to Southend tomorrow and I had better get used to it, because I fear the slippery slope could be just around the corner.
The trouble as far I can see was that 'Comrade Abramovich' wanted too much control and therefor leaving Jose little choice but to opt out. Why? when it was clear that he did/ does have that ability to get the best from his players. (I'm not gutted he left) However then Grant came in and what more could you ask from him other than what he achieved in one season in charge, albeit Jose's team. I won't mention the sulkers down there or the (pensioners?) surely you mean experienced winners of the league. OK it is evident that they are not the same team that have won it (heads down a bit) but still a long way to go and sacking 'big phil' (like it!) would be a mistake.

Hmm more cash needed!!!! lol.
