Shouldnt Ryan Giggs concentrate on playing for Wales and help getting them to the World Cup finals?
As far as I am aware he has retired from international football, but has never played in the finals of any major international tournament.

Ryan Giggs has decided to play out the remaining years of his career for the club he has so dutifully and respectfully loved and played for all his professional career and by retiring from national duty has probably made it to his eleventh title win which is his own personal ambition (Shirt no.)

As for not playing in a major tournament.... well he's not done too bad Bob! OK.... not internationally but helping Wales to a major tournament... mm you do realise he's not a real Wizard don't you?

Kidd,
I think he should have put club before country after all he has won domestically. What more can he now achieve except leading Wales to a football final for the first time in years.
The same applies to Alex Ferguson, who has done NOTHING for Scottish football
Slightly off topic, i always remember hearing a quote from Barry Ferguson of Scotland, saying.....
"I don't want to end up like Ryan Giggs and George Best in never representing my country at a world cup finals"

Kind of implied he was in the same bracket as those two legends!!!

Get lost Barry, you are not even fit to lace Goggs and Bests boots!
done nothing for scottish football ???????????

1980:
First managerial honour when Aberdeen win Scottish
championship.

1982:
Aberdeen win the Scottish Cup beating Rangers 4-1.

1983:
Aberdeen retain Scottish Cup this time beating Rangers 1-0 and
defeating Real Madrid 2-1 in Gothenburg to lift European Cup Winners'
Cup.

1984:
Aberdeen win League and Cup double beating Celtic 2-1 in the
Cup final. Ferguson awarded OBE.

Yes, Alex Ferguson did do well for Aberdeen over 25 years ago, but he should now be managing Scotland to test his true abilities.
If you put a chimpanzee in charge of Manchester Utd now, they would still win trophies for years to come!
Why would he go to manage Scotland???
Leading arguably the biggest club in the world vs a second rate nation (no offence intended)
The only reason you think a monkey could win stuff with utd is because of ferguson. I certainly wouldn't want the job after him - whoever gets it is on to a loser from the start.

Anyway - back to Giggs. Like you say, he's retired from international football. So no mahor tournaments for him.
That's the decision he took as a lad - to represent Wales rather than England.
Sir Alex has already had a crack at managing Scotland in the mid 80's - I wouldnt have thought he would be interested again.
