1.dont have there/your own song/anthem
2.and @ your/there matches there are no signs of passion banners, or flags like you see in europe, anfield, and stamford bridge.

Because we like to watch the game... and not mystify ourselves that your a red cling-on.

It has to said Sir Alex (Boss of United) hasn't had a flag day for A While. Jose who?
Question Author
yes but it is known that old trafford lacks atmosphere, which was well stated last year[fact].
and in my opinion people waving, large banners, flags, setting off fireworks etc,,just adds to the atmosphere of the game, and just shows you how devoted fans are of there team and how much they love the game of football.

OK agreed it does make the atmos.. more and as for chanting for your team... are you a bit deaf? as for the rest well..

don't YOU do that after the game? some times maybe i guess.

In my experience all the flag waving happens before the match, in the build up including a huge flag that travels around the ground.Like Kidd says, we watch the action when it starts.
Nice one Steve.5, codger out the old rope..

I live about 5 mins from Old Trafford (so getting home tonight was fun!) and have to say, the most buzz you feel about the place is from the away fans.

It doesn't seem to be a very local following, not like the amount of staunch City supporters.

You see a lot of people about with the Utd shirts but always far more muted than the other fans. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing locally after the Rangers fiasco.

It's mental round here tonight, getting home on a tram packed with lots of sweaty and singing italian men, not seen it that manic since Celtic were down.
Yes, i've been to Old Trafford many times and have been under one of those huge flags when someone has 'trumped'.Lol, theres no escape.
Nice to see you on a footy thread Adele.x
We will just have to be content with having the greatest team ever wont we?
