No referenece to Victoria Beckham, who would thought Peterborough Utd woud make the Championship.Well done to Darren Ferguson and the lads on back to back promotions.Next season is going to be very interesting
Thanks Mighty WBA, Looking forward to it but the trouble is WBA seem to be a Posh bogey side specialy over the last 2 seasons in the league and FA cup.
What a fantastic achievement for the posh, but i fear that you will not hold on to your manager for very long especially if you do well next season, good luck to you and i wish you well.
Saw Darren Ferguson being interviewed yesterday, quiet and unassuming, full of praise for the other team and the match officials. He's certainly learned a lot from his dad and won't be blaming anyone else if things go wrong.
Is he the next United manager?
In 1953 I was at Crave Cottage (Fulham then in the old 1st division and Posh in the Midland league) and saw them draw 1-1. Johny Haynes was playing for Fulham.
Silk in goal.
Bryan and Parrot fullbacks
Cannot remmeber the team in full...can you?
Sorry, sqad, have only lived in Peterborough since 1994, so can't really call myself a true fan, just like to see them being succesful. I know that the legend Tommy Robson was still playing Sunday league football to a decent level a few years back. I think he was 58 at the time.
Tommy Robson he's a class pundit now on Radio Cambs matchdays and still turns out for Posh legends charity matches.Truly genuine and passionate about Posh.
By the way lesblue beings that you are into the fifteenth year of living in Peterborough We'll just have to make you a honouary Peterborian .
