Man U are not the be all and end all in football nowadays.
I expect he'll sign for Sheff Utd on a Bosman? After all, he owes them one, doesn't he?
No, lots of people.
Think about it, Ronald left......
i think these players uses Man utd to get known and once they are good enough they leave to a much better club with better salary.

looks like no trophy for utd this season!=)
man u tok the pi@s out of him now hes laughing.
Not mad, just greedy, like his agent.
do you mean greedy like ferdinand and rooney
Any one in the right mind wouldn't
I agree CelticBhoy anyone in their right mind would not reject a Man United contract
"looks like no trophy for utd this season!=)"

Look how well Utd did after Cantona left......
Trouble is who's good enough to take any trophies away from Man United - not an ageing Chelski or a two man scouse team
Funny that Ric...I'd be interested to know what % of ManUres goals were scored by Ronaldo in the last 2 seasons.
ric.ror-the majority of goals scored by ronaldo were penalties
f a c t
AON YOUR NEW SPONSORS=ALL OVER NOW=FACT
Lets just wait until the end of next season shall we. He that laughs last etc
I dont know why that posted as I had not finished. What I was going to add was the only FACT I am bothered about from last season was the fact that Man United won the PL AGAIN. The fat waiters team cracked under the pressure and cried that next season will be their season AGAIN - FACT
Ric - Ageing Chelski....Van Der Sar...Neville...Scholes...Giggs...
Firstly for a goalie - its not that important - not with our defence anyway
Secondly - I doubt whether Giggs, Neville and Scholes will be first team players next season even though they are probably the most experienced players in the PL. They certainly have the most trophies, medals etc.
He was at Man U for two years.

From Christmas he has said again and again he wanted Utd to sign him. He got the fans on his side, he went to the press and practicaly begged to be bought and nothing.

Now they sell Renaldo and they make an offer he must wonder if Utd actualy want him.

So hes going to take another offer who can really blame him.

As for writing them off - do so at your peril Fergusson has been here before once or twice.

Scholes, Giggs and Neville got limited playing time last year. His defence is top notch - Midfield might need a tweek but lets not forget he has Hargreaves to come back. And hes about to spend 30m on a striker with 50m burning a hole.

United have known for a year that Ronaldo was going and how much they wanted for him.

The option fee for Tevez was agreed two years ago when they took him on loan. United have offered that, give him a 5 year contract and said they would make him 'one of the top paid' players at the club.

All along, the problem has been with his owner. When he is finally sold, it will be for more than the 26million fee United agreed, and his owner will get a cut from the extra millions.

The point is they never made the offer though, if they had made the offer 2 months ago he would never have looked elsewhere. They took it to the brink and lost.

They did the same with Berbatov last year and ended up paying what they were asked to pay 2 months before.
