Please excuse me for not looking the facts up Steve, it's something you've omitted to do quite often ! I don't intend looking that far back in history for Merseyside league titles.
I did not intend any nasty vindictive sniping, I was trying to explain how Everton might have gone on to greater things had they been able to compete in Europe after League, FA Cup, and European victories in the early to mid eighties.

Now steady on chaps. I didn't mean to start a bunfight here. I was only trying to point out that whenever Chelsea are mentioned it always seems to end up in a "you've got no history", "where were you when you were $hit" etc etc, invariably started up by fans from Liverpool. The question didn't even mention Liverpool.
Word of advice, EVERY club has a history, NOT EVERY club is succesful. Yes, it would be great if my club had won a sackful of silverware. Yes, it would be great if we played flowing football like Barcelona, but we havn't and we don't. But,it doesn't matter because there is absolutely nothing I can do about it!!
