Liverpool: A New Beginning?
http://news.bbc.co.uk...liverpool/8876510.stm
Kenny Huang is amongst those who has made an offer to buy Liverpool FC. Listening to Radio 5 last evening, he seems to be a very respectable businessman (though the same was probably said of the Americans a few years ago), and he wants to write off the debt as well as build the new ground. And, apparently, there could be "unlimited" money available because he has direct connections with the Chinese government.
But the deal has to done within 2 weeks otherwise he will walk away, partly because he wants to give Hodgson some time (and money for transfers?) before the start of the season. It was said that RBS, who are owed all the money, will effectively act as a 6th member of the board, meaning that the Americans could be outvoted 4-2.
It has to happen doesn't it?

At some stage Roman Abramovich will lose interest, be bumped off or simply go to meet his maker. Chelsea will then be in do dos.

Man City are not successful yet, and if this continues who knows what Abu Dhabi will do.
There have been some worrying rumours at times for Birmingham City.
The Americans were seen as the saviours of Liverpool, so who knows what will come of a Chinese takeover. They will probably dismantle Anfield and fly it to Beijing like Rover.
