I thought the whole idea of the chairman being appointed was to bring about the sale of the club to repay the debt, and would have thought that the 2 London court cases ending in his favour would mean that he has the legal authority to carry on with the deal agreed with NESV rather than having to accept some last minute agreement foisted on the club by Hicks.
But it's in the fine print. NESV look to be the preferable option currently.

It has now been confirmed that the Texas injunction will be withdrawn at 1pm our time (7am over there).
Hicks has now done a deal with Mill Financial so that they could take over LFC once all the paperwork has been completed and someone has been saying that Hicks would remain on the board in that case.
I still reckon that the NESV deal will be the one but that bstrd certainly knows how to mess everything up.

The latest online is that the FA have declined to allow Mill Financial to pass the Fit & Proper test without the backing of the Liverpool board, which must surely mean that it will be NESV since they have already been ok'd.
Only about 10 minutes till the madness kicks off in earnest.
