Clubs seem to rush into these things these days, not sure it does the club good to be managerless, however briefly.

I don't know what Ashby is expecting. I think Hughton has done a fantastic job, and its thanks largely to Hughton that the fans have been reasonably tolerant towards their owner. I think the club deserve better than the clown that is Mike Ashby and I would like to wish Chris Hughton good luck in the future.

Hughton gets them up at the first time of asking, they thrash Sunderland 5-1(every maggies dream) are 11th in the premiership and sack the manager. The inmates are running the asylum.
