Well, what a drama this week. I cannot believe we have got rid of Hughton to see him replaced by Alan Frikking Pardew!!!! (2.30pm unveiling today)
All that hard work Hughton and the players did to get back into the premiership and starting to look like we might establish ourselves as a premier league club again have gone out the window now!
Player unrest, fan unrest etc. I think the Fat cockney owner under estimated the team spirit and galvanising that Hughton did whilst he was here, sometimes that means a lot more than premiership managerial experience.
I fear for us now this season.

It gives the rest of us a laugh though.
Seems the owner isn't happy unless he is undermining the staff and/or upsetting the fans. I hope for your sake, milo, it turns out to be a good appointment, but I doubt it very much..........Hughton won't be out of football for long, thats for sure!!
my other half is a toon fan and he is sick of all the decent managers they keep letting go
Its a shame chris hughton went seemed a nice guy and did well for the toon.
i heard through the grapevine that hughton was on his bike weeks ago, mainly cuz he wasnt a mediaman, didnt have that kind of personality needed after games for the tv. eg giving interviews. is this pathetic or what?
possibly going to west ham after grant gets the boot either after xmas or b4
He will have to stop messing around with the player's wives though, it's not good for team spirit.

Yeah apparently the decision was taken two months ago and Ashley was just looking for a perfect excuse to sack him (slump in form), but then we beat Arsenal away.

What gets me is the statistics that the media keep pouring out. E.g. They say Hughton has only won 2 pts from his last 5 games. Well that means nothing! They neglect that 6 games ago we beat Arsenal, therefore making the statistic 5 pts from last 6 games. Not great but it sounds a lot better!!
beating villa 6.0, makems 5.0, gooners 1.0. everton 1.0, pretty good results for a struggling team

Pardew just confirmed as our new boss!..............5 and a half year deal!! What The Funicular!!!!!!!!!
My blood is boiling right now!
Hi all, just seen it Pardew over 5 year contract. Not a toon fan but can see how you are upset. Owner said he wanted someone with experience but only experience Pardew has is of being sacked as boss 3 out of the 4 times he has been manager. The reason Chris was sacked 2 points from 5 games owner said but if you look at the previous 4 premiership games they got 10 points from 12, not bad in my opinion. Think he may have made a big mistake.
5 year contract? That'll cost a bit when they sack him.
you should become a man city fan,,,never a dull moment there been a fan for 35 years...and believe me its been one roller coaster ride...lol
and now tevez wants to leave..aaaarrrggggghhhhhhhhh
our best player
northboy,

Will they now change the road hoarding poster from '' Welcome to Manchester '' to '' Leaving Man City '' :-)

Who is embarrassed now, not Man Utd?????
Pardews first signing northboy.
@trt
we are not embarrased, that poster was a send up as we city fans take the mick saying that old trafford is not in manchester thats all.
at the end of the day he lets down the fans,,not the top knobs at city they could not give a s**t.
rooney has not lived up to expectations after he spat his big dummy out.
we will see...ctid....35 years and we r still here

Just heard that it wont cost us a lot if we sack him before his contract ends. If we sack him its a £500k one off payment, thats it.
Well that's one good thing about it then......
