It's the end for Roy Hodgson and Kenny Dalglish is now in charge until the end of the Season !
Roy is a good Manager but I think Liverpool is too Big a Club for him to Manage. Shame really but the writing was on the wall after all these bad results !!

Even with so many mediocre players remaining from the Benitez era, there have been far too many poor results, with Hodgson unable to provide much inspiration with his decisions.

So now we have Dalglish. I hope I'm wrong but I suspect that he won't be the talismanic figure that so many seem to think that he is.

Do you mean the Chelsea that are struggling to stay in touch with the 4 teams above them?
Appointing Dalglish is to appease the fans

Remember what happened at Newcastle when that other 'messiah' Keegan was reappointed manager there for the 2nd time?

A success it was not

LFC will fall into even further into decline when the inevitable happens and their only 3 decent players Torres, Reina and Gerrard leave

Resign yourselves to life amongst the also rans koppites

Bandwagon jumpers Steve?
The Dalglish appointment's a bit of a mystery. When did he last manage any team for any length of time?

I'm surprised Martin O'Neill's name isn't being shouted from the rooftops?
Dalglish's appointment will surely mean a much improved Liverpool performance tomorrow

Time after time we see a struggling team change its manager and in their next match the players are well up for it and produce an unexpected result
I do hope the fans still hold King Kenny in such high regard if he fails to re-ignite this team and fire them up the league. There is every chance that LFC will continue to under-achieve as a new regime has to be started now and it will take further time to progress as a squad. All Kenny can do is help them survive in this league and build for future seasons, any supporters still hoping for Europe and chasing the top 4 should quit now to avoid dissapointment.
What Kenny will do is inspire the players, raise moral and hopefully lift the fans. A win tomorrow would secure his legendary status, but a string of defeats in the league could tarnish it. He is only one man, inheriting a mis-match of Benitez/Hodgson tactics and ethics - good luck Kenny!!
