Do you mean the top division?.
What makes you think they did. I don't remember since I started following football over 45 years ago
dont think so it was always 3pm when I was a lad

well 12 o clock.
3pm on a Saturday - 19:30 Midweek even European games. 10 minutes for half time as well

I remember you could turn on the radio at about 21:10 and get the results.
the odd lower division teams sometimes did..my team chesterfield being one of them.there saturday home games during the sixties when i first started going to matches always kicked off at 15 15,and if i remember correctly,midweek home games at chesterfield always kicked off at 19 15..never knew why.
And Tranmere Rovers usually played on a Friday evening so as not to clash with the big boys across the river
