£30000 fine and a 5 match touchline ban for Fergie! The FA are doing all they can to stop Man U winning. They can't be beaten on the field, so they stoop to this. They're probably looking at ways to deduct points as well. Shameful!
xylene, you say they can't be beaten on the field!!!
Wolves, Chelsea, Liverpool...isn't this 3 games this season where they've been beaten on the field. In a managers job they have to give press interviews after the game (after all they get paid well enough) and he refuses and sends captain baldrick to do them. for years i have seen man utd get the majority of decisions and stupid amounts of stoppage time added on to allow them back into the game.
Wolves (last season) and Blackpool had a fine for fielding a weakened team yet man utd can do this and no one bats an eyelid, the rules are there for all and don't exclude fergie or man utd like previously.
I just looked at lesblues avatar .. and then nearly choked on my toast when I read his first sentence....... sorry les I thought you were launching an attack on the premiership's most talented diver..!
The FA have been too lenient in the past with this ungracious character. He has plenty to say for himself when it suits him but can be very dismissive of other Teams/Managers and especially Referees.
He will never grace the shoes of the likes of Matt Busby who was a gentleman !
Good, should have been more. The rules are there for everyone, and the FA have been far too casual in the past in applying them to certain teams.
Hes supposed to be a role model, being a successful manager of one of the worlds most well known teams - his attitude is disgusting, and hes nothing more than a bully. About time someone stood up to him, and put him in his place
Agree with Redman and JackDaniels. I think he should have been banned from attending the matches not just the touch line. It's about time that Ferguson is put in his place. Personally would have increased the ban and the amount of the fine
(thirty grand to him is the equivalent of about 30 pence to me)
