what utter......rubbish. that's not a sport. it's almost as bad as all the poncing around in gymnastics. what is the point of it? the smiles are very scary.

Why do all Synchronised swimmers look like , Bjork ?

Apparently the Irish synchronised swimming team was sent home early after a brawl between team mates.

Paddy said Mick was copying him!

I'm sure it is all very pretty, and takes skill & effort. It's just not sport though, it is choreographed aqua dancing. Anyway I'm at work, no time for watching it.

Is it any less of a sport than "horse dancing" though?

Oooh yes duncer, dressage is incredibly highly skilled ( a lot more so than this IMO)

I have no wish to argue that dressage is not skillful, it most obviously is, but is it any more or less of a "sport" than synchronised swimming?

Why a horse dancing and syn. swimming is in the olympics is beyond me

If horse dancing relies on some judges' opinion then no, it isn't less of a sport than horse dancing.
